Instructions
This instruction guide describes each tool and how to use it.
- 1. Layout Tabs
- The tabs allow you to move between the three layouts, Forum Signature, Profile Pic and Mobile Wallpaper. You can work on all three at the same time by switching between them.
- 2. Input Title Text
- Type in text to use as a headline in your layout.
- 3. Input Body Text
- Use this tool to type in more content. The option is only available for the Forum Signature layout.
- 4. Select a Colour Palette
- Select a bucket from the Colour Palette to use the colour scheme of your choice in the three layout elements: Text, Photo Area and Background.
- 5. Select Photo Mask or Shield
- Selecting a Photo Mask will change the shape and position of the photo area. When you are in the Profile Pic layout a Shield frames your photo. Scroll through the available options with the arrow buttons pointing left and right.
- 6. Upload Photo
- The Upload Photo button will bring up a window that will allow you to upload a photo from your computer into the photo area. You can use either a JPG or PNG photo format, but remember: larger photos will take a long time to upload, so try to keep the photo smaller than your computer’s screen resolution. You can upload a different photo for each of the three layouts.
- 7. Photo Scale, Rotate and Move
- Use the sliders to scale and rotate your photo in the photo area. You can move the photo in the layout by clicking on it, holding down the mouse button and releasing it.
- 8. Select Texture
- The texture that you select will appear behind the photo area and text and therefore replace the background colour. If you would like to return to the background texture, scroll to the first texture with "none" in its preview thumbnail. The arrow buttons pointing left and right scroll through the available options.
- 9. Select Decoration
- In the Profile Pic layout, you can use this tool to apply decorative elements around the shield. The tool is not available while editing the Forum Signature and Wallpaper layouts. Scroll through the available options with the arrow buttons pointing left and right.
- 10. Save layouts
- Once you have finished creating your layouts, click this button and you’ll be taken to a page that will allow you to download your graphics. The Download buttons will save each layout as a jpg on your computer.
